My Journey

Growing up Indian American, we practiced Hinduism at home. The Sanskrit teachings are full of ancient wisdom and the Bhagavad Gita has been studied for centuries. I enjoyed reading its scriptures and how to apply it to my daily life.

As I grew up, I continued to have this thirst for spiritual knowledge. I wanted to learn more about the soul and the human consciousness. One day, about 8 years ago I was at a book store and randomly picked up The Journey of the Souls by Michael Newton and my life has never been the same ever since. It changed me in profound ways. To learn about what happens to our souls in between lives, why we continue to reincarnate and with whom was an invaluable lesson to me.

I continued to read books related to the subject and this opened me up to the world of metaphysics. Three years later, my mom passed away suddenly and I was not able to see her to say goodbye. It was a feeling of deep loneliness to not have her physically here with me. However, the knowledge I had gained helped me grieve and find strength in knowing that her soul is immortal and watches over us.
I soon began taking classes on meditation and intuition development to help expand on what I already learned and to begin to use my abilities to help others. I used resources such as Meetup and Facebook Groups to try new places where I could find like-minded individuals and feel safe and supported. I was no longer alone on this journey. I experimented with different modalities to find what resonated most for me and today I am grateful for the work I am able to do.

I never thought that picking up that book would change the course of my life. Nor did I ever think I would be able to do what he did. Yet now, I am enjoying being a past life regression therapist and watching my clients flourish on their own journeys. My life has come full circle as I do the work I am here to do.
